I do however believe that the blog needs to focus on something. The most successful blogs ie the most read blogs are those that concentrate on a particular subject or field and is updated often.
This is my problem. I cannot focus on just the one thing.
There are many things that interest me. And this blog was in fact going to be the mouthpiece for all of it, hence the "This is my 'I has a blog' blog" tagline. I think I may go back to those few challenges I set myself when I resurrected this blog.

Hm I disagree about the fact that successful blogs are the ones that concentrate on one subject. That's not true. As long as you update often and write in simple English and write about things which others can relate to or would have an opinion about then people would love and visit your blog often. :) Good luck!

I think, since you are trying to 'revive' the blog, the problem with your plan was that it was too ambitious. The main problem why my blog hasn't been updated in ages is because I just don't get time to concentrate on it. I'm sure it's a factor for you too. So instead of trying to write one post a day for 15 days you should have started slow, like one post a week or even one every two weeks. The if you give a priority of meeting that deadline, you can achieve it without it being a sudden burden. Once you are able to make regular posts at long intervals, you can work on increasing the frequency. What do you think?
