The first day was quite enjoyable actually. Instead of learning just about software problems I get to learn about hardware as well. So by the end of this course I will be able to take a computer apart and then rebuild it piece by piece by my very own self. I am starting to get really excited about it now.
Oh and I wrote about that going away present that my coworkers got me - that new schoolbag??? Well turns out that the course actually provides everything that I would need for the course. And I mean everything! So i got an awesome new backpack, as well as all the tools and books. So all in all I have three bags now. How awesome is that?
It was pretty intense. But then I was expecting it to be. And it's only going to get more intense from now on. But I will deal with it... and enjoy myself whilst doing so...

where you studying? good luck with it! enjoy the thrills of late nights, assignments and deadlines again!! i will be not far behind this lifestyle ... as of feb 08 i start my postgrad dip in paediatrics at melb uni ... very exciting actually coz (like you with IT) its something i really really want to do :) cheers, bee
